Albert Young joining Colorado staff

Former Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Albert Young is joining the Colorado coaching staff as either a graduate assistant or technical intern, but not as a fulltime assistant coach.

NCAA rules allow Football Bowl Subdivision programs to have four graduate assistant coaches at any time and two technical interns.

Young, a former star at the University of Iowa, played two seasons with the Vikings in 2009 and 2010. He ran for a total of 82 yards in 25 attempts over those two seasons. view his profile at NFL.com
