Former Buff Nate Solder was profiled Monday night on Path to the Draft on the NFL Network. Here is a link to the video.
Here are a few quotes from Solder courtesy of Andrew Howard, Public Relations Coordinator for NFL Media.
On his style of play:
“I’ve got a competitive streak that won’t end. Non-stop, aggressive, going to be at you all game. Going out there and getting to beat a guy, [you] get to show who’s better.”
On his influences:
“Jonathan Ogden is one I’ve been watching for a long time. He’s a big guy that moves great. He’s a Hall of Fame guy, he’s a good guy. That’s the kind of guy that I want to be.”
On draft day:
“Draft day will be life-changing. Playing against everyone – Dwight Freeney, Julius Peppers, all of those guys – it’s going to be unreal.
On his goals in the NFL:
“My goals at the next level are first to win a Super Bowl, and whatever that takes. You’re going to have a guy here that’s going to be your All-Pro left tackle 15 years down the road. And if that’s what they want, then I’m the guy for them.”
Path to the Draft airs Monday-Friday at 6:00 PM ET on NFL Network and runs until the NFL Draft April 28-30.
