While his players have scattered to beaches, ski slopes or couches for spring break, Colorado coach Dan Hawkins is traveling this week to visit with some of his peers coaching their teams ins spring practices.
He spent today in Provo, Utah, visiting Brigham Young. Cougars coach Bronco Mendenhall said he and Hawkins have become good friends through their association with Nike, which recently hosted college football coaches such as Hawkins and Mendenhall for a week in Hawaii.
At least he is trying to find a clue.
The question remains…Would he know it if he saw it? Not overly confident. Sadly.
